The Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is for adventurous hikers who want to experience a long and rewarding trek. This trek takes you through the most popular villages of the Khumbu region and includes challenging climbs and descents to the base camp of the highest point in the world. mountain, Mt. The Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek provides spectacular scenery and offers great challenges for even the most experienced hikers. It includes a hike to Kalapathar (5545 m) (literally means Black Rock); which offers some of the most dramatic views of Mt. Everest, Pumari, Nuptse and Lhotse along with the incredible peaks of the entire Khumbu region. Jiří's Everest Base Camp trek is a great combination of the landscape in the region; offers incredible scenery, challenging high-altitude trekking and opportunities to come into contact with the Sherpa people and their unique culture.

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu(1300m/4264ft)

This day is your first day in Nepal. Our team is waiting to welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport. We will pick you up and then transfer you to the hotel. After refreshments, you will have a small meeting for the trip and then get ready to trek to Everest Base Camp from Jiri.

Day 2City tour and trek preparation day (1,300m/4,264 ft)

After breakfast, you will begin a city tour that includes visits to Kathmandu's most popular sites such as Bouddha Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After the city tour, we will meet again to check the gear for the trip, such as your clothes and trekking gear; sleeping bag, down jacket and trekking shoes. Meanwhile, you can ask questions about your adventure of a lifetime. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3Drive to Jiri (1,955m/6,414ft) 7-8 hours(By bus)

Your guide will arrive at the hotel after the discussion and drive to the local bus stop to embark on the bus journey. It's a long bus ride, but the scenery is beautiful on the way. The bus stops twice along the way and arrives at Jiří . After reaching the cottage, you can kill your time by walking around the town. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 4Trek to Shivalaya (1,770m/5,807ft) 4 hours

After breakfast at the lodge, your first day of the trek begins with a steep climb to the ridge at Chitra and descends down to the river to cross a suspension bridge to reach Shivalaya. In the evening, a walk around the village and an overnight stay in a cottage.

Day 5Trek to Bhandar (2,190m/7,185ft) 5-6 hours

Today your walk starts with climbing to Deurali on top of the hill which has great scenery of mountains with beautiful valley. After a short rest, the trail descends through the forest to Bhandar. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 6Trek to Sete (3,220m/10,498ft) 7 hours

After a hot breakfast in the hut, the trail descends towards the valley through a small passing village. After a few descents, reach the river, cross the bridge and continue the climb to Kinja. Then continue on foot to Sete for the night.

Day 7Trek to Junbesi (2,700m/8,858ft) 6-7 hours

Today your day begins with a climb towards a forest of Rhododendron, Pine and Juniper. It is a steep climb up to Lamjura la, which is a high pass, then the trail descends towards the Sherpa village of Junbesi.

Day 8Rest day

Today is the first mandatory acclimatization day to allow your body to adjust to the effects of the altitude. Instead of staying in the box, we recommend a walk, which will allow the body to adapt more quickly to the thin air. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 9Trek to Nunthala (2,194m/7,198ft) 6-7 hours

After breakfast at the lodge, cross the bridge and a few descents to Ringboo. The trail takes you to the top of the hill at Takshinda, which is a beautiful walk through the forest. The trail then descends into the valley at Nunthla for the night.

Day 10Trek to Kharikhola (2,040m/6,692ft) 4- 5 hours

Your day begins with a descent to the river via a suspension bridge. There are several villages to pass through and a steep climb towards the Sherpa village of Kharikhola for the night.

Day 11Trek to Paiya (2,730m/8,956ft) 5-6 hours

The trail climbs to Bupsy through stone steeps and continues to the Karila pass through the forest. It is a beautiful walk and you can see great views of the mountains. After passing a few teahouses along the way, you reach Payu for the night.

Day 12Trek to Phakding. (2,652m/8,700ft) 6-7 hours

After breakfast at the lodge, the trail descends steeply down to the river and over a bridge, passing through a village just below the Lukla airstrip. Many climbs to Phakding today. You will pass a lot of prayer rocks (Mani in the local language). You can freshen up and do it easily after arriving at the lodge in Phakding, but a short walk to the village or a hike to the Gompa will help you acclimatize. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 13Trek to Namche (3,440m/11,283ft) 6 hours

After a hot breakfast at your lodge, the trail leads to a suspension bridge and a gentle climb to Monju where Sagarmatha National Park begins. After brief National Park formalities, jump down to the river, cross another suspension bridge and continue walking to the high Hilary Bridge at the foot of the hill. Beyond the bridge, a path leads uphill to Namche Bazzar. The trail starts on a fairly steep slope and then levels out. You will feel the first effects of the altitude and it is recommended not to walk too fast. On the way you will have great views of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Kusum Khangru and more. Stay overnight at the Lodge.

Day 14Acclimatization Day

This is the second mandatory acclimatization day to allow your body to adjust to the effects of the altitude. Instead of staying in the box, we recommend a walk, which will allow the body to adapt more quickly to the thin air. Today you will see the museum, visit Khumjung and Khongde village where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. You can also visit Thame, which is an old Sherpa village. The rest of the day you can explore Namche Bazzar where you can use the internet, visit the national park headquarters, museum and monastery or enjoy coffee and visit the bakery according to your interest and time. Stay overnight in Namche.

Day 15Trek to Tengboche (3,867m/12,684ft) 4-5 hours

After breakfast at the Namche lodge, the trail leads briefly up the ridge and an easy route to Kyamjuma before descending gently to Dudhkoshi at 3250m. Then a steep ascent brings you to the famous Tengboche Monastery with a picturesque backdrop of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest and other peaks. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 16Trek to Pheriche (4,240m/13,910ft) 4-5 hours

For half an hour, we descend to the river bank through lush forest, cross the river and gradually climb into the valley of the highest year-round settlement of Pangboche (3,860m/12,664ft). In the afternoon, continue your ascent through alpine meadows and herds of yaks until you reach Pheriche for the night.

Day 17Rest day

This is the third mandatory acclimatization day to allow your body to adjust to the effects of the altitude. Instead of staying in the box, we recommend a walk, which will allow the body to adapt more quickly to the thin air. You will drive to the ridge for the views and back to the lodge for the night.

Day 18Trek to Lobuche(4,928m/16,164 ft) 4 and half hours

After breakfast at the lodge, the trail leads through the valley and descends below the hill, from where it starts up the hill to Dugla. Then the trail continues to climb to the ridge where there are many memories of the Sherpa who died on the Mount Everest glacier. The trail climbs slightly to Lobuche for the night.

Day 19Trek to Gorekshep and Everest Base camp excursion (5,320m/17,450ft EBC )/ (5,160m/16,929ft ) 3 hours

After a hot breakfast at the lodge, it's an easy descent for a while and then some ups and downs to Lobuche. Then the trail leads towards Gorekshep through a rocky path. On the way you will have great views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori and others. On the way you will be able to see the Khumbu Glacier. After a few descents you reach Gorekshep which is located at the bottom of Kalapatthar. Visit Everest Base Camp This is the day that will fulfill your dreams of visiting the base camp of the highest peak on earth. It is a 3 hour walk across the ridge of the Khumbu Glacier. You will enjoy the surrounding views of the glacier and the mountains. The symbol of base camp is Buddhist prayer flags. During the climbing season, there will be a number of tents and hives of activity as climbing groups prepare to summit Everest. After exploring the area, go down to the lodge and relax in the lodge for the rest of the day. Stay overnight.

Day 20Hike to Kalapatthar and Trek to Dingboche (4,410m/14,468ft) 2-3 hours

Today you will have to start your day in the morning without breakfast which is a 2 hour trek to Kalapatthar; the biggest viewpoint on Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Thamerserku, Mera Peak and many more. After taking photos, go down to the lodge at Gorekshep for breakfast and continue your walk down to Dingboche. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 21Trek to Namche Bazza (3,440m/11,283ft) 8 hours

Today your day begins with a steep downhill walk through a rhododendron forest. Once below the hill, cross the bridge and climb steeply through the pine and juniper forest to Khumjung. After the village tour at Khumjung, lunch will be held and continue on foot to Namche Bazzar where you will stay overnight.

Day 22Trek to Lukla (2,652m/8,700ft) 6-7 hours

After breakfast in the cottage, the trail goes down the hill through the pine forest to the bridge and continues on foot to Monju. Again some formalities had to be done at the Monju National Park Checkpoint and then continue on foot to Phakding for lunch. Then continue to Lukla on your last day of the trek. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 23Fly to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

Normally, due to the weather, the flight is always in the morning. Your guide will handle all airport formalities before you have breakfast at the lodge. Your luggage will be taken to the airport with the help of our porters and porters. As soon as our guide receives word of your arrival at Lukla airport, he will call you to watch the small plane land on the small airstrip. After a quick photo shoot of this incredible sight, you will be flown back to Kathmandu. Once you are at the airport in Kathmandu, our guide will help you get to your hotel by private vehicle.

Day 24Transfer to the airport

This is your Last day in Nepal. One of our team members gives you a final departure to the international airport.
