A helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp takes you through the Himalayas (north of Kathmandu) where you can see Ganesh Himal, Ranthang Himal, Dorje Lhakpa and Shisa Pamma. Then fly to Mount Everest. The helicopter has to make several stops for photos from the ground before reaching Everest Base Camp. An oxygen system with a regulator attached to a 4/5 liter mountaineering oxygen bottle and a high tech top out mask may be required. Once equipped, fly to Kala Patthar at 55545m above sea level with majestic views of Mt Everest, Mt Pumori, Mt Nuptse and many other mountains and peaks and amazing glaciers. The helicopter stays for 30 minutes, depending on the weather. Helicopter tours are entirely up to you and you need the right equipment
