Trip Information:

Mardi Himal, lying to the south of the well known Annapurna Basecamp is a beautiful but merely traveled route. The destination is best suited for trekkers who prefer less crowd mostly during the favorable seasons.

One gets to enjoy the soothing sound of nature like the birds chirping and take shade under the trees, which is very rare in other trek routes.

Throughout this trek, the major highlights include Mardi Himal Base Camp, traditional Nepali villages and their lifestyle, an up-close view of the mountains, including Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli and Mt. Machhapuchhre, green lush forest throughout the trail.q

Mardi Himal is a combination of both easy and moderate. So it largely depends on the climber’s prior experience. For beginners, it can be the best option to challenge the high altitude adventure.

The maximum altitude for the trek is 4,250m at the Upper viewpoint or 4,500m at the Mardi Himal Base Camp.

The panoramic view of the mountains; Annapurna South, Machhpuchhre (Fishtail) and Himchuli will fill up your heart with every spirit of adventure.

The amazing flora-fauna and richness of forests with the gorgeous national flower Rhododendron on your way will make this trekking experience one of a kind.

To sum up, Mardi Himal is the best trekking route, for climbers seeking a surreal experience with the countryside of Nepal.
