Trip Information:

A very budget-friendly trip that accommodates sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara with adventure sports like canoeing, rafting, trekking to the divine Himalayas and jungle safari in the dense forest and national park of Nepal.

The package includes most of the bucket-list places in Nepal within a short period of time. The trip begins from Kathmandu where you will be sightseeing around the beautiful world heritage sites, at the same time experience the hustling life of the Capital city.

Followed by white water rafting in the Trishuli River with impressive ravines, thrilling currents, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful environment. Heading on to Chitwan National park, you will enjoy activities like canoeing, jungle safari, bird watching, cultural dances( Tharu) and shows.

Then you will head to Pokhara, the city of lake, as the name says it is known for its scenic view from the lake. Trek to the Himalayas usually begins from a few hours drive from Pokhara, hence being a popular destination for mountain climbers. Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village will be the first stop, then followed by Tadapani, a village known for its amazing view and head off to the main highlight, Ghorepani. You will get an amazing panoramic surrounding view of Himalayan massifs from the Poon hills. Later, you will return to Pokhara and spend the day sightseeing lakes, the city, and its nightlife. The trip will end with you heading back to Kathmandu.

Day 1Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Firstly, on arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up from the airport. He/She will be holding up the signboard outside the airport terminal. You will then directly be escorted to your hotel. You can visit our office to get more information about the trek. In case you happen to arrive after 4 pm, you will be briefed about the trip by our authorized guide. You will be provided with our trek duffel bag and cap. Please make sure to carry along your passport, 3 copies of passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Also, make sure to clear any due balance and then sign on the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer form. You can stroll around the city in the evening. Stay overnight at the Hotel. No meals are included.

Day 2Morning yoga and guided sightseeing around the valley

In the early morning we will have a yoga class at Mandala Studio Yoga and Spa, Thamel. Mandala yoga is a place committed to the enjoyment created by positive, joy and thoughtful exercises. This yoga session will give enough recreation and positivity for the coming days. Post yoga, we will take you back to your hotel to freshen up and have a warm breakfast. After breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start at 8:30 am. We will provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. We will take you to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where you will be able to examine Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhnath Stupa, we will visit Pashupatinath, the most famous sacred Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we will be able to see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims soaking in the river and funeral pyres burning on the ghats. We will also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is a collection of pagoda and shikhara – style temples arranged around a fifty-five-window palace of wood and brick. The attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the Lion Gate, the Golden gate, the Palace of fifty-five windows, art galleries, the Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla. Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast will be included.

Day 3Drive to Charaudi for white water rafting about 2.5 hours at the Trishuli River. Then head off to Chitwan ( 3 hours)

In the morning, soon after breakfast, we will head out to Charaudi. It will take around 2 hours on the drive from Kathmandu. The total distance is 85 KM. At Charaudi we will be rafting at Nepal’s one of the most popular white rafting river Trishuli. Trishuli has remarkable gorges, few rapids, and moderately white water. The rafting will last for around 2½ hours. After rafting, we will proceed to Chitwan in a private tourist vehicle. During our drive on the highway we will come across picturesque hills and rivers. The drive will take around three hours from Kurintar. Stay overnight at a resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 4Enjoy activities at Chitwan national park

After our breakfast, we will move ahead for a morning tour which will present to us one of the best chances to see the wildlife at its best with Jeep Safari/Jungle Walk. Then after our lunch, we will go for a canoe ride. We will take local boats to observe crocodiles along the banks and also visit the Elephant Breeding Centre. Late afternoon you will be entertained with the Tharu Cultural Program. Stay overnight at a resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 5Drive to Pokhara ( 5hours)

After having a warm breakfast we will head to Pokhara, the beautiful city known for its lakes and Himalayas in a private tourist vehicle. The drive to Pokhara will take roughly 5 hours from Chitwan. It will be a beautiful drive where you will get to witness country settlements and inspiring Himalayan scenery. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and prepare for the next day’s trek. Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 6Drive to Nayapul ( 1 hour) and then trek till Ghandruk (2200m)which takes about 4 hours

After an hour’s drive on a private vehicle from Pokhara, we will begin our trek from Nayapul. We will trek upwards from Nayapul to reach the beautiful Gurung village located at Western Pokhara and this will take approximately 4-5 hours. We can explore the beautiful village of one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. They have their own language, customs, attire, and lifestyle. Ghandruk is also home to several Gurkha soldiers. It is a well-known trekking destination as it is known for its lovely mountain views of mountains like Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre. We will also visit the Annapurna Conservation Office, Gurung museums and travel the village. Stay overnight at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 7Trek to Tadapani (2700m)- 5 hours

After a satisfying breakfast in the morning, we will go to Tadapani. This will be a trek up the hill to a higher elevation. We will see the rhododendron trees, white monkeys moving around and the divine Himalayas right in front of us as we walk up the stairs and the trails. It will take approximately 5 hours to reach Tadapani. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 8Trek to Ghorepani (2800m)- 6 hours

From Tadapani it will take nearly 5-6 hours to reach Ghorepani. The trail continues upwards with countless stairs and some muddy paths amidst the dark lustrous forests. We will be able to witness a few waterfalls, high trees in the dense forest along the walk. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 9An early hike to Poonhill and then down to Ulleri - 5 hours

It is crucial to reach Poonhill early in the morning in order to witness the sunrise, the beautiful sky revealing its color into the noble Himalayan ranges all around. The stairs will take you around an hour to reach Poonhill, the highest altitude of the trek which is 3210m. The central highlight of the trek is the breathtaking composition of the Himalayas all around. We can see the panoramic representation of the peaks such as Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, etc. After walking down to the Guesthouse, we will have breakfast and stroll down the beautiful village of Ghorepani. If its spring season, we will walk down along the rhododendron trees, the sounds of rushing streams, birds chirping and light blue cloudless sky and the ravishing view of hills. Ulleri is a pretty village where we will be staying for the night which arrives after walking for fairly 5 hours down the hill. Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 10Return to Nayapul - 4 hours. Then drive back to Pokhara

We will end our trek at Nayapul followed by a brief drive back to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon and take a stroll around the lakeside. You will stay there overnight at a hotel. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Day 11Roam around sightseeing places in Pokhara

We will wake up early to catch the sunrise from Sarangkot Hill. A drive of 45 minutes with 25 minutes hike will bring us to the viewpoint of Sarangkot. It is the best spot in Pokhara to see the Himalayas. Get hypnotized by the magical sight of the golden sun rising over white spires of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and Machhapucchre (Fishtail Peak), including glimpses of the beautiful Pokhara Valley and Fewa lake. It will take about a 15-minute walk down and 45 minutes’ drive to the hotel in Pokhara. We will return to the hotel for breakfast. During the day we will visit the tourist attractions in the city: Bindhyabasini Temple, lying in the center of the religious bazaar is said to have been built in the late 18th century by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati, the protector of Pokhara. Davis Fall, a tremendous waterfall in Pokhara is surrounded by flora. It is different from the other falls due to its natural phenomenon. The waterfall is locally known as Patale Chhango. It is widely popular among tourists as well as locals. Gupteshwor Cave, situated 2 km from the Pokhara airport is right across from Davis fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered. Seti River Gorges, carved by the Seti Gandaki River is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool and Prithivi Highway Bridge near bus park provide a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water. Tibetan Refugee Camps- Tibetan village Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s. Stay overnight at a hotel. Breakfast will be provided.

Day 12Return to Kathmandu- 7 hours

We will drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist bus, enjoying the last glimpse of the beautiful mountains, the raging Trishuli River, (Or you can opt to fly back to Kathmandu on additional cost; confirm during bookings). After we reach Kathmandu, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel. You can spend the day on your own means. Explore Kathmandu on your own. Stroll along the roads of Kathmandu for some last-minute shopping. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances, organized by us. Stay overnight at a hotel. Break and dinner will be provided.

Day 13Transfer to the Airport

We will provide you with the morning breakfast. Lastly, our representative will escort you to the International airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Breakfast is included.
