Everest View Luxury Trek is not very challenging. The accommodation will be secure, convenient and the best we can offer. Your stay at Kathmandu will be at 5 Star Hotels such as Hyatt Regency, Radisson Hotel, Soaltee Crowne Plaza, etc. and stay throughout the trek will be at luxurious guest houses such as Yeti Mountain Home and Everest Summit Lodge. Everest view luxury trek will give you an opportunity to study the Himalayas at a much closer distance. The trek begins at Lukla, a Sherpa settlement. On the second and third day, we will visit the ancient historical and religious sites of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur.
This Everest view luxury trek ends after a flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 1Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport
Firstly, on arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up from the airport. He/She will be holding up the signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be escorted to your hotel. You can visit our office to get more information about the trek. In case you happen to arrive after 4 pm, you will be briefed about the trip by our authorized guide. Please make sure to carry along your passport, 3 copies of passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Also, make sure to clear any due balance and then sign on the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer form. You can stroll around the city in the evening. Stay overnight at the Hotel. No meals are included.
Day 2Tour around the valley
We will start our day with a satisfying breakfast and leave around 8.30 am on a private vehicle and an authorized tour guide at your company. We will visit the world heritage sites around the valley, some including Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a famous five-storey temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style Batsala temple, Dattatreya temple, Bhairavnath temple, Pujari Muth and Palace of 55 windows. Pashupatinath Temple is the sacred temple located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river. Although one cannot enter the main temple unless they are Hindus, you can see the temple and observe the activities performed from the eastern Bagmati river. Boudhanath Stupa is the biggest and holiest stupa built in the 5th century. You will find Buddhists pilgrims from all over the world especially Tibet, taking rounds of the stupa and spinning the prayer wheels. Then we can go for further exploration around the Thamel and shop for the next day’s trekking gears Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 3Sightseeing at Patan and Bhaktapur followed by Hiking on the Telkot-Changu Narayan Trail
After breakfast, your trek guide will arrive at the hotel at 8:30 in the morning. We will first visit Patan Durbar Square, and the best attraction is the antiquated royal palace of the Malla Kings of Lalitpur. There are several other temples; Bhimsen Temple, Krishna Mandir, Taleju Bhawani Temple, etc. After visiting Patan, we will go to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which was the capital of Nepal during the reign of Malla Kingdom. Bhaktapur is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its vibrant culture, temples, and artwork. We will then visit a few more sites such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bhairab Nath Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Dattatreya Temple. Then we will Telkot from where we take a brief hike of approximately 2.5 hours. We will hike to the temple called Changu Narayan, an ancient Hindu temple on a high hilltop. The rest of your day in Kathmandu is vacant for more exploration. Stay overnight at a Five Star Hotel. Breakfast is included.
Day 4Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
We will wake up early in the morning and start with a warm breakfast. We will head to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla. On arriving at the airport, the guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding. After landing, your porters will carry the bags. We will have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we will begin our trek by gravitating towards the Dudh Kosi River where we will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just over Chaunrikharka. The trail is easy. After passing by the small village of Ghat, it is a brief walk to Phakding. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.
Day 5Trek from Phakding to Namche
After breakfast, we will recommence trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, and cross this majestic river many times on thrilling suspension bridges weighted with prayer flags. After accessing the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail escalates steeply with awe-inspiring views. Namche Bazaar, also known as the Gateway to Everest, is a dwelling to numerous quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchanges, Internet cafes, and bakeries. Namche is the most populous village along the entire Everest trail. Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Hotel Namche. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.
Day 6Hike from Namche to Syangboche Airport and Everest View Hotel then trek back to Namche
After a warm breakfast, we will hike to the Everest View Hotel and enjoy the picturesque and dramatic view of the mountains. It will take us about 2 hours to reach there. After an hour of rest, we will witness the mountains. We will be visiting Syangboche Airport which is an airstrip that is not permitted for commercial services. Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Hotel Namche. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.
Day 7Trek from Namche to Monjo
After breakfast, we will hike down to Monjo and pass through Sagarmatha National Park. We will wave goodbye to the highest mountain in the world. We will be crossing many suspension bridges and then walk along Dudh Koshi River. This whole trek will take around 4 hours. Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Everest Summit Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.
Day 8Trek from Monjo to Lukla
It will be a 4-hour long walk from Manjo to Lukla. We will reach Lukla from where we had begun this amazing trek. We will be waving off to the place as relive our memories of the beautiful place. Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Everest Summit Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.
Day 9Morning Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Enjoying the last glimpse of the mountains we have recently visited, the 35 minutes scenic flight will take us back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred back to your starting hotel. Stay overnight at a Five Star Hotel. Breakfast is included.
Day 10Leisure Day in Kathmandu
It’s an additional day in case of bad weather in Lukla. If you are interested to extend your trip, there are several tours such as Chitwan jungle safari, river rafting, Kathmandu shopping tour, mountain biking. And, in the evening we will host farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances to make this day a memorable one for you. Stay overnight at a Five Star Hotel. Breakfast and farewell dinner are all included.
Day 11Transfer to the Airport
We will provide you with the morning breakfast. Lastly, our representative will escort you to the International airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Breakfast is included.
