Trip Information:

Everest Panorama Trek will be a less strenuous trek on the foothills of Everest region. It starts with a 35-minutes flight to Lukla. This trek will follow the trail to Tengboche Monastery going via Lukla and the popular Namche Bazaar. It will be a short trek giving us some really excellent view of the world’s highest snow-capped peaks, including Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam and Mt. Thamserku. We will visit a continuation of Sherpa villages which is surrounded by waving prayer flags and sparkling snow-capped peaks. Everest Panorama trek will definitely give a great initiation to the lifestyle of Sherpa along with beautiful mountain views. For the ones who are new to this trek, Everest panorama trek is one of the most familiar destinations. Moreover, Everest panorama trek is best suited for those people who do not have enough time to spend trekking on mountains.


Day 1Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Firstly, on arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up from the airport. He/She will be holding up the signboard outside the airport terminal. You will then be escorted to your hotel. No meals are included.

Day 2Guided sightseeing around the city and pre-trip meeting

We will start our day with a satisfying breakfast and leave around 8.30 am on a private vehicle and an authorized tour guide at your company. We will visit the world heritage sites around the valley, some including Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a famous five-storey temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style Batsala temple, Dattatreya temple, Bhairavnath temple, Pujari Muth and Palace of 55 windows. Pashupatinath Temple is the sacred temple located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river. Although one cannot enter the main temple unless they are Hindus, you can see the temple and observe the activities performed from the eastern Bagmati river. Boudhanath Stupa is the biggest and holiest stupa built in the 5th century. You will find Buddhists pilgrims from all over the world especially Tibet, taking rounds of the stupa and spinning the prayer wheels. Note: There will be a meeting at our office where you will be introduced to your trek leader. You will be provided with our trek duffel bag and cap. Please make sure to carry along your passport, 3 copies of passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Also, make sure to clear any due balance and then sign on the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer form. Then we can go for further exploration around the Thamel and shop for the next day’s trekking gears Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 3Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

An early morning start with a warm breakfast takes us to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla (2,804 m). On arriving at the airport, the guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2,610 m). After landing, your porters will carry the bags. We will have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we will begin our trek by gravitating towards the Dudh Kosi River where we will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just over Chaunrikharka (2,713 m). The trail is easy. After passing by the small village of Ghat (2,550 m), it is a brief walk to Phakding. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 4Trek to Namche Bazaar

After breakfast, we will recommence trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, and cross this majestic river many times on thrilling suspension bridges weighted with prayer flags. After accessing the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail escalates steeply with awe-inspiring views. Namche Bazaar, also known as the Gateway to Everest, is a dwelling to numerous quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchanges, Internet cafes, and bakeries. Namche is the most populous village along the entire Everest trail. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 5Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar

We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar to adjust to the thinning air and get acclimatized to the weather conditions. We will hike a short distance to a museum that is glorified for its displays of the folkloric customs of the Sherpa people. We will also hike up the Syangboche Airport near the Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see gratifying views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 6Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

The views of Taboche and Khumbi La look magnificent the entire day. We must dress warmly because the cold wind blows throughout the trail. In the middle of the trek, there are two trails that divide into the lower and upper trail. To continue our journey, we will take a left. In Phortse Thanga there exist a few houses and lodges. After some hours of walking, we will reach today’s destination, Tengboche. It is dwelled by Sherpas where their main source of income comes from tourism. There is an important and largest Buddhist Monastery, Tengboche Monastery where Ama Dablam lies behind. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 7Trek to Namche Bazaar

After breakfast, we will trek the same trail back to Namche. On the way, we will pass Pangboche village, then Tengboche village that leads to our final destination Namche, for overnight stay. En route, we will come across Dudh Koshi gorge, forests filled with rhododendron and pine, Himalayan birch, juniper trees, colorful pheasants, etc. It will take us around 7 hours to reach. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 8Trek to Lukla

This will be our last day of trekking since we will be returning to Lukla where our trek began. We will enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the individual achievement of all those who were a part of this journey. It will take us around 6 to 7 hours to reach Lukla.. The afternoon will be free, so you can roam about, relax and enjoy a hot shower! In the evening, we will have a few celebratory drinks and dance with your trek mates. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 9Morning Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

Enjoying the last glimpse of the mountains we have recently visited, the 35 minutes scenic flight will take us back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred back to your starting hotel. Stay overnight at a hotel. Breakfast is included. If you are interested to extend the trip, there are several other options such as Chitwan jungle safari, river rafting adventure, Kathmandu shopping tour, mountain biking, and other activities.

Day 10Leisure Day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu

After an exhausting trek, this will be a relaxing day for you. Get your body massaged, leisurely gallivant around Thamel and buy souvenirs, visit Garden of Dreams for some relaxing time. This is also a spare day to use for a flight back to Kathmandu in case there wasn’t a flight the day before due to unpredictable weather conditions. And, in the evening we will host farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances to make this day a memorable one for you. Stay overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 11Transfer to the Airport

We will provide you with the morning breakfast. Lastly, our representative will escort you to the International airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Breakfast is included.
