NOTE: We recommend that you arrive in Kathmandu a day earlier before you start your trek (if you do not have a day tour of KTM scheduled). When you arrive a day earlier, you will have time to rest as well as time to buy trekking equipment if required. Similarly, it is best to have some extra days (1 or 2) after you have finished your trek because your flight to Kathmandu from Lukla might be canceled or delayed due to bad weather. Hence, it is recommended to have a few extra days beside the trip schedule so that you don’t miss your International Flight.

Everest without mountaineering equipment and also the highest altitude that most will reach without a climbing permit. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is striking.
