Annapurna in luxury suits the best for all those enthusiastic to travel through the beautiful Himalayas in comfort. This trek is average and does not demand any tension. The accommodation is comfortable and extravagant at Kathmandu and Pokhara with the most sumptuous guesthouses on our trek trip.
The second day will be spent sightseeing around Kathmandu and Patan. We will visit the UNESCO world heritage sites and on the third day, we will drive to Pokhara and begin the trek. The guesthouses are of maximum convenience and comfort.
The Annapurna in luxury trip is, hence, a daydream for the trekkers endeavoring for the opportunity to hike to the mountains of the Annapurna Region and enjoy the comfort at hotels and guesthouses.
Day 1Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport
Firstly, on arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up from the airport. He/She will be holding up the signboard outside the airport terminal. You will then be escorted to your hotel. You can visit our office to get more information about the trek. In case you happen to arrive after 4 pm, you will be briefed about the trip by our authorized guide. You will be provided with our trek duffel bag and cap. Please make sure to carry along your passport, 3 copies of passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Also, make sure to clear any due balance and then sign on the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer form. You can stroll around the city in the evening. Stay overnight at the Hotel. No meals are included.
Day 2Tour around the valley
We will start our day with a satisfying breakfast and leave around 8.30 am on a private vehicle and an authorized tour guide at your company. We will visit some world heritage sites around the city. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla. It is a famous five-storied temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style Batsala temple, Bhairavnath temple, Duttatraya temple, Pujari Muth and Palace of 55 windows. Pashupatinath Temple is the sacred temple located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river. Although one cannot enter the main temple unless they are Hindus, you can see the temple and observe the activities performed from the eastern Bagmati river. Boudhanath Stupa is the biggest and holiest stupa built in the 5th century. You will find Buddhists pilgrims from all over the world especially Tibet, taking rounds of the stupa and spinning the prayer wheels. Then we can go for further exploration around the Thamel and shop for the next day’s trekking gears Stay overnight at the hotel. Breakfast is included.
Day 3Morning flight to Pokhara - Trek to Majgaon
After a warm breakfast, we will catch a morning flight to Pokhara, a beautiful city of lakes. The flight delivers luxurious views of the snow capped peaks. Upon arriving after a 30-minute flight to Pokhara, we will drive to Lumle, where our trek starts. It will be an hour-long drive on a private tourist vehicle. After 45 minutes of hiking from Lumle, we will reach Chandrakot village. We will walk further towards Majgaon, a Gurung village. After 45 minutes of steady walking, we will reach the extravagant guesthouse where we will spend the night. You can spend the remaining day relaxing or exploring and familiarizing yourself with the locals. Stay overnight at a lodge or guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are all included.
Day 4Trek to Landruk
After a warm breakfast, we will bid farewell to the beautiful village and venture to Landruk. The trail will take us into the radiant rhododendron forests, small Gurung villages that appear every few hours and Himalayan ranges accompanying us time and again. After 4 hours of walking, we will reach Landruk and have our lunch. We will rest for a few hours and spend the rest of the day exploring the village. Stay overnight at a lodge or similar ambiance guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are all included.
Day 5Trek to Ghandruk
Soon after our breakfast, we will begin walking from Tadapani, where the path descends through forests until we reach Ghandruk, village to the Gurungs. The Gurungs have their own culture, lifestyle, costume, and dialect. Stay overnight at a hotel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included
Day 6Trek to Birethanti. Drive back to Pokhara
After a warm breakfast, we will bid farewell to Ghandruk and hike towards Birethanti. It will take us around 4 hours to reach Birethanti. We will have our lunch at Birethanti and rest for a while. Later, we will drive back to Pokhara which will take us around an hour and our representative will escort you back to the hotel. Stay overnight at Shangri La Village Resort (Pokhara) or a similar quality hotel. Breakfast and Lunch are included.
Day 7Guided sightseeing in Pokhara
After a warm breakfast, we will begin our day-long tour around the city known for its beautiful lakes. You will be accompanied by our professional city guide on a private tourist vehicle and visit the following sites: Bindhyabasini Temple, lying in the center of the religious bazaar is said to have been built in the late 18th century by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati, the protector of Pokhara. Davis Fall, a tremendous waterfall in Pokhara is surrounded by flora. It is different from the other falls due to its natural phenomenon. The waterfall is locally known as Patale Chhango. It is widely popular among tourists as well as locals. Gupteshwor Cave, located 2 km from the Pokhara airport is right across from Davis fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It consists of some large rooms and passages where you have to crawl. The cave holds unique value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered. Seti River Gorges, carved by the Seti Gandaki River is one of the natural phenomena of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Prithivi Highway Bridge and Mahendrapool near bus park provide a perfect view of the river’s offensive rush and the deep gorge made by the uncontrolled flow of white water. Tibetan Refugee Camps- Tibetan village Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The first Tibetan homesteaders in this area relocated to Nepal in the late 50s. World Peace Pagoda is also known as Pokhara Shanti Stupa. It is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument. It is the reliquary built as a symbol of peace. The spot is located at the height of 2,100 m on the Ananda Hill. Nepal owns two of the 80 peace pagodas in the world which are Shanti Stupa in Lumbini (the birthplace of Buddha), and Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. It also provides a scenic view of the Annapurna range, Fewa Lake, and Pokhara city. Stay overnight at a Shangri La Village Resort (Pokhara). Breakfast will be included.
Day 9Transfer to the Airport
We will provide you with the morning breakfast. Lastly, our representative will escort you to the International airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Breakfast is included.
