EXPLORE OF THE UNSPOILLED VALLEY WITH DIVINE HIMALAYAN AND BUDDHIST CULTURE.

NAAR-PHU(Phoo) VALLEY

EXPLORE OF THE UNSPOILLED VALLEY  WITH DIVINE HIMALAYAN AND BUDDHIST CULTURE.

Hi , my name is Punam Limbu and I am a travel freak too . After travelling  and getting experiencing into many places I decided to trek  a place called NAAR PHU valley with  the team of Alpine Tour as Travel . I had a thought to trek  as a solo traveller but it couldn't happen because it was a restricted area  and also knows as the lost valley where trekkers need to have a special permit which should be issued by the accredited trekking agency .

As usual , our journey started from Kathmandu to Besisahar, Besisahar (Lamjung) to Manag and at  last Manag to Koto. Since it was monsoon , the path was slippery but still had a great opportunity to see many waterfalls . It was a hard path but beautiful journey  which cannot be explained into words but can be gained through experience and our experience was great . After reaching Koto we got to see monasteries , people , bhattis (local people to eat food and take short period of rest) and  got to know the actual meaning of KOTO. KOTO is a gurung word which define as WALNUT .Every people where really frank to us and we enjoyed every second of it . Next day we went off to trek .Since it  was a first day of trek we were really excited and walked enjoying our gags .The peaceful moment and the greenery scenes surrounded by lavish jungle and mountains , hearing the birds whisper made the journey more amazing .It was really long way and yet we walked so far  and reached the top . At a point we reached the way which was separated at two way to PHOO village and NAR village . We took the path of Phoo village. The way  to the village was really dangerous  and After more walks we were really exhausted but still we had our strength and hope to reach at the village no matter what . Finally after hours and hours of walk  we reached the village.

The houses  and the path of the houses were really amazing . Moreover from the top seeing the village , the plain lands and so does the mountains were so amazing and unforgettable .  We roamed every corner of the places and every bit of it was really  amazing . By the time we stayed at the Tibetan house and enjoyed our night with people. Things got more interesting when we knew about the past days of the village .We actually came to know that PHOO was in Nepali word but the locals call the village as NARTOI . It is an ancient village where  at the past days the Tibetans and Chinese army used to fought each other and the Chinese used to chase Khampas  of Tibet . The Khampas used to stole foods and enter  others house .After hearing that  past things we thought of   getting more information but at that moment other Tibetan came inside the house and unfortunately , we could talk more about it because the  old people were enjoying their alcohol and talked about their past and marriage . That was interesting too and at the end we end up dancing and singing with them . The next day we got to go more places  and we wanted to stay much long with them but we couldn't and the other day we stood up and said good bye to all the people who made those beautiful nights  with us .
