Description

Trip information:

Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most popular, adventuresome and in-demand trips in Nepal. Heading to the circuit of the highest mountain in the world is a lifetime happening and the best that can be cherished forever. The trail will take us through the twisting paths, through the lush green forests, passing through the glacial lakes, we will cross several suspension bridges and eventually to the Himalayan Giants. The unique feature of this trek is the scenic 20 minutes helicopter ride from Gorakshep back to Lukla.

The adventure begins with the scenic chopper flight to Lukla. The landing at the runway of Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla will give you added chill down the spine. After landing, we will follow our qualified mountain guide and trek to Phakding, a Sherpa village situated in the Dudh Koshi river valley. Our next depot is Namche and to reach the village we will cross and re-cross the natural Dudh Koshi River. Trekking past mani stones, colorful strips of prayer flags and chortens we will reach the bowl-shaped Namche Bazaar, an essential trading post for Sherpas living in the higher ranges. Namche is home to several restaurants, shops, lodges, internet zones, and bakeries.

Other villages along the route include Tengboche, Lobuche, and Dingboche. We will hike up to Nangkhartshang Peak which is at an elevation of  5082m, and enjoy the impressive views of the divine Himalayan giants like Ama Dablam (6812m), Lhotse (8516m), Thamserku (6623m), Nuptse (7861m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Island Peak (6160m) and several other peaks. The highlight of our trip is going to be hiking to Kala Patthar (5555m), the viewpoint on the bottom of Mount Pumori (7161m) and Everest Base Camp (5365m), the bottom camp of Everest summiteers at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, mountain peak (8848m). By the end of the trek, we will have a valuable repository of memories, photos, and experiences in our head and it will last for a lifetime in your memories as well as the pictures you have captured.
